In a statement that can ratchet up the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan put the onus of peace in the region on India.
In a brief national broadcast, Khan said that “in case India goes for war, Pakistan will have no option but to retaliate.” Targeting India, he said that Indian government is in habit of blaming Pakistan for anything and everything. “If any attack happens in Kashmir, India always blames Pakistan.”
“India needs to introspect,” he said, blaming the Indian government for ‘oppression’ of people of Jammu and Kashmir. Imran Khan said that, it is the election year, and that a lesson to Pakistan would have electoral gains.
