Ram Charan, who won the accolades of critics and audience alike for his performances in ‘Dhruva’ and ‘Rangasthalam’ is back to his comfort genre commercial cinema. He teamed up with the ‘mass’ specialist Boyapati Srinu for a high-voltage action drama ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’. Though the teasers, trailers, and songs haven’t created any hype on the movie, it got released with huge openings. Let’s see whether Ram Charan can score a hattrick hit with this movie or not.

‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ is a story about an orphan boy named Rama Konidella (Ram Charan) and his fight against the dreaded criminals to save his brother. Rama’s brother Bhuvan Kumar (Prasanth), who is an Election Officer in Bihar, is kidnapped for ransom by the local don. How Ram rescues his brother and destroys his nemesis and his criminal empire forms the rest of the story.

Content-wise, ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ offers nothing news as it’s a tried and tested plot with a weak screenplay. The first half is passable with a few fan moments. The second half is full of senseless violence with heavy bloodshed and without any logic.

There is no justification for the title and Boyapati has done the same thing to Ram Charan which he has done to NTR with ‘Dhammu’. Though the movie might appeal to action movie lovers to an extent, a larger section of the audience will be quite disappointed.

Senseless violence/fights. Too many action episodes without any premise

Nonexistent storyline

On the whole, ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ offers nothing new content-wise. With a tried and tested plot, and weak screenplay, the movie is a disappointing fare.
