President of Telugu Desam party Nara Chandrababu Naidu told on Tuesday that his party is going to play the role of a constructive opposition for extending co-operation to the new YSR Congress party government in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu Naidu told in his first public appearance after Telugu Desam Party faced humiliating defeat in Andhra Pradesh assembly and Lok Sabha elections that Telugu Desam Party is going to watch the performance of the new government for sometime.
The outgoing Chief Minister told that the government promised a certain things and asked that they would let them fulfill those promises. Chandrababu Naidu told that analysing the mistakes, re-dedicating themselves to the service of people and rectifying the lapses, Telugu Desam Party needs to serve the people and also asked the party workers to not get distracted by the electoral drubbing and also assured them that he would stand by the workers of the party.
