Spinach Soup recipe

This rich and creamy soup recipe is a healthy one and can be served as an appetizer. Try this delicious soup recipe if you want to indulge in a diet soup that also tastes good.


Spinach- 4 cup
Chopped onion- 1
Flour- 2 tablespoon
Milk- 1 cup
Butter- 2 tablespoon
Fresh Cream- 1 tablespoon
Water- 2 cup
Salt- half teaspoon
Powdered black pepper- 1 pinch


Wash the spinach leaves to begin with and separate the thick stems. Boil the leaves in water for approximately 10 minutes until the spinach leaves are well cooked.

Cool the leaves and puree them in a blender and keep them aside. Take a pan and heat it, followed by the addition of butter.

Add the chopped onions to the pan and fry them over medium flame for approximately 4 minutes until the onions turn transparent.

Go ahead and add plain flour and fry it over a low flame. Now add spinach puree, salt and paper and milk to the pan.

Let it simmer for approximately 4 minutes. Add fresh cream before serving.
