SBI to organise customer meet to understand grievances

The largest lender of the country State Bank of India told on Friday that is going to organise a nationwide customer meet on 28th May for understanding the grievances of customers and enhancing services.

State Bank of India is looking to engage with approximately 100000 customers at nearly 500 locations under the initiative through 17 of its local head offices.

Managing Director of State Bank of India PK Gupta told in a statement that the purpose behind this customer meet nationwide is nurturing the trust of customers in the State Bank of India by engaging with them at the ground level and also added that they are looking forward to the customers participating in this mega customer meet and also helping them in meeting their expectations through enhanced experience at the branches of the bank.

This development comes close on the heels of the directions by the Prime Minister’s Office to the aviation ministry for speeding the process of strategic disinvestment of Air India and three of the subsidiaries of the company.

Civil aviation secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola had advised chairman of Air India Ashwani Lohani in a letter for finalizing the financials of the company and its subsidiaries by the end of June.
