Pulwama Attack: Indian security forces detain 23 suspects

The Indian security forces have detained 23 men with suspected links to Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad which earlier claimed responsibility for the suicide attack that killed 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in south Kashmir’s Pulwama.

According to the report, the 23 men include members and sympathizers of the terror group JeM, which carried out the deadliest attack on Indian security forces in three decades of Kashmir’s insurgency.

While the whole nation still mourns the death of CRPF soldiers, the attack has made matters worse in the Valley, four army personnel, including a Major, were martyred on Monday in an encounter with terrorists in Pinglan, an area in Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

However, Islamabad denied all allegations and accusations about its involvement in the Pulwama terror attack.
