Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan who warned India to be ready for the war seems to have changed his mind. Imran Khan urged PM Modi to ‘give peace a chance’ and assured that his government would surely take an action against the forces behind the Pulwama attack.
The appeal from Imran Khan came just a day after PM Modi threw a challenge to Imran Khan, asking him to act honorably by bringing to justice those behind the strike if he was indeed a “Pathan’s son”.
A statement released by the Pakistan Prime Minister’s Office said, “PM Imran Khan stand by his words that if India gives us actionable intelligence, we will immediately act.”
PM Modi should “give peace a chance”, the Pakistan Prime Minister said in the statement.
