Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Monday that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who wants him dead after he was caught in a controversy over his statement that he would be assassinated by his own Personal Security Officers like Indira Gandhi one day.
The police department of Delhi is under the control of the Union Home Ministry since Delhi is a Union territory. Arvind Kejriwal has made the full statehood demand key theme in the just concluded general Lok Sabha elections.
Arvind Kejriwal told in a Hindi post on his official Twitter handle in an exchange with Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Vijay Goel on Monday that it is Narendra Modi who wants to get him killed and not his Personal Security Officer.
This remark from the Chief Minister comes as a response to the Hindi tweet by Mr Goel who told that the Chief Minister has given a bad name to the police department of Delhi by expressing suspicions about his own Personal Security Officer.
Vijay Goel also told that it would be better if Arvind Kejriwal chooses his Personal Security Officers. The Union Minister also added to let him know if the Chief Minister needs any help and winded up the tweet wishing Arvind Kejriwal a long life.
