PM Modi responds to ‘Divider-In-Chief’ comment by TIME Magazine

Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the TIME magazine cover today calling him ‘divider in chief’ of India and also questioning whether India can endure five more years of Modi government.

Speaking to reporters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told that TIME magazine is foreign and the writer who wrote the article has also told that he comes from a Pakistani political family which is enough for the writer’s credibility.

The cover story was written by Aatish Taseer who wrote that the biggest democracy of the world, India, is more divided than ever and also referred to mob lynchings in the country.

Aatish Taseer also referred to the appointment of Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the decision of Bharatiya Janata party to field Pragya Singh Thakur.

The article also simultaneously criticized the opposition and told that the Congress party had little to offer than the dynastic principle and also described President of Congress party Rahul Gandhi as an unteachable mediocrity.

Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata party Sambit Patra had said that the writer is a Pakistani and that nothing better can be expected from the country.
