Leading milk supplier Mother Dairy hiked milk hiked by Rs 2 per litre on Friday in the national capital region because of high procurement cost from the farmers that is going to be effective from Saturday.
Mother Dairy has increased the costs of only polypack milk but not the bulk vended milk which is also called as token milk.
This decision from Mother Dairy comes only days after the milk prices were hiked by Amul by Rs 2 per litre. According to the information received from the company, it raised the consumer prices of the poly pack milk variants from May 25, 2019 in Delhi NCR.
The one litre pack and half litre pack have been increased by Rs 1 and Rs 2 respectively and are going to impact the consumer by Rs 1 per pack effectively.
