The film is likely to get a long run and the recent statistics suggest that all the expectations on the movie were spot on.
Maharshi never witnessed a huge drop which happens to be the sign of a true blockbuster. The movie has entered the third weekend of run in majority of the theatres and is also facing competitions from other releases. If reports are to be believed, the movie collected approximately 1.5 crore share on its 16th day after it hit the screens as well at the worldwide box office, slowly inching towards the hundred crore mark.
Maharshi manages to remain as the top grossing Telugu movie in Bengaluru region as well on the 16th day after its release and also continues with nearly 81 shows per day in its third week in Bengaluru, a new record with respect for Telugu movies. The movie also has 12+ shows per day in Chennai centres on its third week and also enjoyed a decent Friday and is likely to go past the one crore mark by tomorrow.
