It looks like Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has got its mind to intervene in Andhra Pradesh’s upcoming Assembly elections. Of late, TRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao has been making remarks on AP Chief Minister and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu’s loss in the upcoming elections. Nevertheless, he has again said that this time “TDP will face it’s worse ever defeat while Jagan will become the CM.”
Presumably, KTR told reporters that “Chandrababu is having nightmares about KCR. There is no hope and he will be defeated,” he said, adding that Naidu is worried about I-T raids on AP industrialists because “they are his benamis.” Nevertheless, he felt that the people of Andhra Pradesh will not believe in Chandrababu Naidu’s “fake promises. They are smart and his failure is imminent,” KTR added.
Going by KTR’s remarks on AP elections and his forecasts on Chandrababu Naidu’s defeat, political watchers say that he is actually doing more damage to YSRCP by blaming the TDP chief at every situation. “This will actually help Chandrababu use the sentiment and provoke people against TRS’ meddling where he will show Jagan as TRS’ friend. This will do more harm to YSRCP and in fact, do good to TDP among AP people because they have seen how KCR has spread venom on Andhra people. Their remarks don’t work in AP,” said an analyst who did not want to be named.
