KCR TO QUIT REGIONAL POLITICS?

Despite winning with a vast majority in the Telangana elections, CM KCR seems to be not too keen on continuing as the CM of Telangana, but, instead, he is focused on national politics. He has been mulling over the idea of a federal front without Modi and Congress since quite some time.

With KCR moving towards in this direction, there have been rumors about KCR moving to Delhi politics to pave way for his son KTR to occupy the CM post in Telangana.

Now the latest rumor in political circles is that KCR may contest Lok Sabha elections in 2019 from Karimnagar. KCR contested from Karim Nagar in 2004 and won as MP. He later resigned from this seat during Telangana movement and won in by polls. Later again he resigned and won from the same seat. KCR created sort of record by winning thrice from the same seat for the same Lok Sabha (2004-09).

Also, Karimnagar has been sentiment for KCR as the people of this place always supported KCR and TRS during the movement as well as after Telangana formation.

Currently, Vinod Kumar is representing the Karimnagar constituency. It remains to be seen whether this is just a mere rumor or genuine.
