INDIAN TV CONTENT DAMAGED OUR CULTURE- PAKISTAN

On Wednesday, the supreme court of Pakistan justified the ban on the broadcast of Indian television content in Pakistan with an observation that the Indian television content damaged culture of Pakistan. 

This remark was made by Mian Saqib, Chief Justice of Pakistan, why he was hearing the appeal of an independent body that regulates content of electronic media in Pakistan, Pakistan electronic media regulatory authority (PEMRA) against the high Court decision to ban the transmission of Indian television content on local TV channels. 

When the counsel of PEMRA tried explaining before the court that filmazia was not a news channel and any propaganda was not involved in it, chief justice Nisar told that it is however damaging the culture of Pakistan.
