I am a victim of Dalit suppression and hence could not become CM- Parameshwara

Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka G parameshwara claimed on Sunday that he is a victim of dalit suppression because of which he lost the chance of becoming the Chief Minister. The deputy Chief Minister also added that he had to accept the post of deputy Chief Minister reluctantly.

This statement by Parameshwara supplements more fuel to the fire ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections at a time when the coalition government in the state is facing trouble over Congress’ dissatisfaction over conceding the the position of the chief minister of the state to leader of JDS and Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy.

Parmeshwara also told earlier that even Dalit Congress leaders like KH Ranganath and Basavalingappa and Kalaburagi MP Mallikarjun Kharge lost their chance of leading the state just because they were victims of dalit suppression.
