Hong Kong based company takes over Oakridge schools

Oakridge International School is one of the leading private schools we have in Hyderabad city. This school has now been taken over by the Hong Kong-based group called Nord Anglia Education for about a deal of 1600 crores. Nevertheless, the school management did not prefer to reveal the deal. The news has been verified by top sources in the city education sector.

The school has been running strong for two decades by two of the Indian School of Business alumnus Naga Prasad Tummala and YV Rajasekhar. When asked Rajasekhar on the same, he declined to open on financial details. Nevertheless, he said there is definitely a shift in the management.

There are two branches in Hyderabad. One in Gachibowli and another in Bachupally. Aside from the city, Vizag, Bengaluru, and Mohali have Oakridge branches.

The school is now a part of Nord Anglia Education and the deal has been made a few weeks ago. The Hong Kong website has the latest update on the news that the school offers personalised, inspirational education for 2 -18 yrs age group with nearly 61000 students.
