HDFC Bank told on Sunday that it is going to open hundred more branches in next 3 years in the northeast region.
Managing director of HDFC Bank Aditya Puri informed that the bank is going to take its branch network close to 230 in the next 3 years as a part of the extension plan and is going to open hundred more branches in the North East that would double the number of its branches in Sikkim to 18.
The bank started operations in the northeast in 2004 and as of December 31st 2018, the HDFC bank network in the region comprised 203 ATMs and 126 branches.
HDFC bank network is also going to work with the 650 common service centres to be set up in the North Eastern region by the government for assisting financial services in the rural areas.
Aditya Puri also told that they believe in making an impact to lakhs of people in the northeast region by not just offering products and services but also making a positive change in the communities.
