Government schools should attract students- CM Jagan

New chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked education department officials to bring about revolutionary changes in the system of education for attracting every student to government schools.

The Chief Minister directed the officials of Education department on Friday to provide all required facilities and infrastructure in the government schools on priority basis during the first review meeting with them on Friday at the Chief Minister’s camp office.

Jagan Mohan Reddy asked officials to provide quality water and food to the students in government schools and also observed that there should be no compromise on providing quality food during a discussion on providing mid day meal with school education and other concerned officials along with the authorities Akshaya Patra foundation.

The Chief Minister also told that this was just a preliminary meeting and also requested the authorities to provide detailed reports on all the issues related to the education department by the next meeting.
