Delhi HC asks Centre to submit records on alleged phone tapping of YSR Congress leaders

After a plea, claiming that they have been placed under illegal technical surveillance was filed by some YSR Congress party leaders and their associates, the High Court of Delhi asked the central government on Monday to submit the records related to alleged tapping of phones of the leaders.

Time was granted to the central government by Justice Najmi Waziri, who was hearing a plea by YV Subba Reddy, former MP of the party and five others including personal and political assistants of the chief of the party Jagan Mohan Reddy for submitting the relevant records.

The court also listed the matter for further hearing that is to take place on the 19th of March. It was also made clear by the court that it is not issuing notice on the petition at this situation.
