Amit Shah’s nomination turns out a massive show of strength for NDA

President of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah’s nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Gandhinagar constituency turned out to be an occasion for the allies to attest to his stature publicly as the de facto number 2 in the ruling coalition and a massive show of strength of the National Democratic Alliance. In view of the bitterness among the allies, the presence of Shivsena chief Uddhav Thackeray at the show was the biggest talking point.

Stressing that, by sorting out differences whenever they cropped up, Amit Shah kept NDA going, Uddhav Thackeray, Akali Dal leader Parkash Singh Badal and LJP patriarch Ram Vilas Paswan lavished praise on the BJP President also echoing the assumption that Amit Shah might be joining the union government if Prime Minister Modi got revoted to power in May.
