With February being the month of romantic aura and vibes, one would find recipes that are red or pink in colour this month certainly.

How about we present to you a cake that has the shape of a heart too? We present to you here this cake recipe that is going to add some charm and glitter this romantic month.

Ingredients:

  • Cake mix- 250 grams
  • Strawberry jam- 250 grams
  • Buttercream frosting- 170 grams
  • Medium strawberry- 24
  • Melted butter- half cup
  • Condensed milk- half cup
  • Milk- half cup.

Preparation method:

Preheat the OTG for preparing this delicious cake recipe at 190 degree Celsius for approximately 15 minutes. Take a bowl, meanwhile, for transferring the cake mix into it, adding the batter along with condensed milk in the bowl.

Whisk the cream mixture using a whisker on minimum speed. You can also prefer electric beater for whisking the mixture. Pour milk into the bowl and start whisking again on minimum speed. Try to make sure that the speed of whisking does not increase.

The cake dough needs to have a partially thick consistency. Grease a heart shaped baking pan properly with butter and put the prepared cake mixture into it. Place the baking pan in OTG for baking the cake for nearly 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove the baking pan from OTG once done and let the cake cool down. Transfer the cream butter frosting in a piping bag after neatly spreading the thick layer of strawberry jam over the baked cake for decorating the cake with that frosting from the sides and the top.

Transfer the cake finally into a beautiful platter carefully, decorating it with strawberries around the sides or all around.
